Thursday, May 20th meeting (originally scheduled for May 13th) was held virtually via MSTeams due to COVID-19 

Review/Approve Minutes from April 8th Board meeting and May 1st Fundraising Workshop 

  • Board reviewed and approved minutes from the April 8th, 2021 Board Mtg and the May 1st Fundraising Workshop

  • Agreed that we will wait until the launch of the new website to post December, January, February, March and April Board Meeting as well as the May Fundraising workshop minutes on-line

RECAP / NOTES from April Meeting - ACTION ITEMS:

  • OPEN: Publish minutes from December, January & February meetings on the VLPNO website (On-Hold)

  • IN PROCESS: Kevin to continue work with GBQ to submit missing filings to the State of CA

  • OPEN: Gustav to recruit VLP insurance expert to review VLP current insurance policy, liabilities and coverage.

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to renew Go-Daddy web account services due.

  • OPEN: Kevin to reach out to City Council to get an update on The Agave project

  • COMPLETE: Kermit and Samantha Sackler (Vella) to kick-off VLPNO Home Tour organization

  • OPEN: Identify Modernism Week 2022 VLPNO Home Tour Co-Captain

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to share ONE LAS PALMAS flyer with the Board

  • COMPLETE: Board to respond to City of PS Pedestrian Safety Survey

  • COMPLETE: Scott to send an email blast to VLP neighbors asking for their input and participation in the City of PS Pedestrian Safety Survey

  • COMPLETE: Scott and Caitlin working on getting ownership of Instagram #VLPNO Handle previously owned by Jade Nelson

  • OPEN:Board to finalize Mission Statement

  • COMPLETE: Block Ambassador project team to update powerpoint with title, introduction, purpose, role, approach and expectation

  • OPEN: Engage two more Block Ambassadors

  • COMPLETE: Gustav to reach out to Ken Lyon @ PSHS to re-introduce VLPNO and potentially kick-off a reengagement with PSHS

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send email asking all Board members to provide their top 3 short term and top 3 long term fundraising goals.

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to affinitize the responses and work with Patsy on creating the fundraising workshop agenda based on the Board’s input

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send out Calendar Invite to the Board along with a MSTeams meeting invite for May 1st Board Fundraising Workshop. Meeting to be held in person at Patsy Marino’s house.
