Thursday, June 10th meeting was held virtually via MSTeams due to COVID-19 

Review/Approve Minutes from May 20th Board meeting  

  • Board reviewed and approved minutes from the May 20th, 2021 Board

  • Agreed that we will wait until the launch of the new website to post December, January, February, March, April, May as well as the May Fundraising workshop minutes on-line

RECAP / NOTES from May Meeting - ACTION ITEMS:

  • OPEN: Publish Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May & May Fundraising mtg minutes on VLPNO website (On-Hold)

  • IN PROCESS: Kevin to continue to work with GBQ on missing filings to the State of CA

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to identify if we need to file 2017 Federal Tax Return

  • IN PROCESS: Gustav to review VLP current insurance policy, liabilities and coverage

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to prepare updated 2021 Budget with suggested items from Fundraising workshop

  • IN PROCESS: Board to begin intensive search for homes for MW2022 VLPNO Tour

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send out Calendar Invite to the Board along with a MSTeams meeting invite for May 27th and June 3rd MW2022 VLPNO Home Tour meeting

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to follow-up on completion of slurry project for five (5) VLP streets

  • Kevin to follow-up with City on potential to add street painting of SLOW DOWN on Rose and Monte Vista AND STOP sign on West Crescent and Monte Vista

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to communicate new Mission statement to Caitlin

  • COMPLETE: New website training session scheduled for June 2nd to be recorded by Caitlin

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to update Block Ambassador tri-fold and send final DRAFT for review by the Board

  • OPEN: Kevin and Scott to work on export of members/address from Quickbooks excel to for tracking of memberships by household

  • OPEN: Engage two more Block Ambassadors

  • OPEN: Gustav to begin process with PSHS to potentially update VLP assessment of contributing homes for historical designation

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to engage Stan Boles to collaborate with Gustav in the VLPNO historical designation

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to reach out to Mike McKinley, Don Zuidema and Stan Boles to see if they’d be willing to join the Board

  • OPEN: Steve to obtain quote from Caitlin on Oral History recording

  • OPEN: Steve to identify critical path interviews for VLP Oral History

  • COMPLETE: Steve and Scott to talk to Hank Plante about potential to join VLP Oral History project

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send out Calendar Invite to the Board along with a MSTeams meeting invite for June 10th Board Meeting.
