Thursday, April 8th meeting was held at 616 N High Rod (Patsy Marino’s Home) following SD practices and virtually via MSTeams due to COVID-19 


Review/Approve Minutes from Mar 11th Board mtg 

  • Board reviewed and approved minutes from the March 11th, 2021 Board Mtg

  • Agreed that we will wait until the launch of the new website to post December, January, February and March Board Meeting minutes on-line


RECAP / NOTES from March Meeting

  • OPEN: Publish minutes from December, January & February meetings on the VLPNO website (On-Hold)

  • COMPLETE:Kevin to renew VLP Annual Neighborhood Insurance Policy Premium due in March

  • IN PROCESS: Kevin to work with GBQ to submit missing filings to the State of CA

  • OPEN: Kevin to reach out to City Council to get an update on The Agave project

  • OPEN: Kermit and Samantha Vella to kick-off VLPNO Home Tour organization

  • OPEN: Identify Modernism Week 2022 VLPNO Home Tour Co-Captain

  • OPEN: Scott and Caitlin working on getting ownership of Instagram #VLPNO Handle previously owned by Jade Nelson

  • COMPLETE: Block Ambassador project team to update powerpoint with title, introduction, purpose, role, approach and expectation

  • OPEN: Engage two more Block Ambassadors

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to work on Block Ambassador Tri-fold

  • COMPLETE: Gustav to reach out to Ken Lyon @ PSHS to re-introduce VLPNO and potentially kick-off a reengagement with PSHS

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send out Calendar Invite to the Board along with a MSTeams meeting invite for April 8th Board Meeting. Meeting to be held in person at Patsy Marino’s house.

  • Kevin sent March via email prior to the meeting and gave the following update:

  • Not much activity in the month of March (2 new members)

  • VLPNO CA Tax Filings: Working GBQ CPA through the application and submittal process to the State of California

  • Kevin submitted payment to Weingarten & Hough for VLP Neighborhood Annual Insurance Policy 2021-2022 premium.

  • A review of the current policy. Suggested identifying a VLP member with insurance expertise. Gustav to recruit.

  • Renewal of Go-Daddy web account services due. Kermit to send email with info to Kevin
