At the Annual General Membership Meeting of Vista Las Palmas Neighborhood Organization on November 24th, 2019, we will need to elect three (3) members to the Board of Directors.  Howard Hawkes’ (Chairperson) and Amy Brinkman’s (member-at-large) two-year terms are coming to an end.  As Robin Abrahams’ term would have ended this year, Gustav Swanson (who filled vacancy when Robin left) will also have his term end in order to allow for the staggering of three (3) Board seats in 2019.

The following Board members:  Sally Hightower (Vice-Chairperson), Mickey Puig (Treasurer), Kermit Ferrer (Secretary) and Sheila Cobrin (member-at-large) elected at the 2018 Annual General Membership Meeting will continue remain on the Board for the 2nd year of their term.

Are you a VLP resident or property owner who wants to volunteer some time & energy to help our fantastic neighborhood and join the Board?

To self-nominate yourself for the Board please send email with information requested noted below before end of day Thursday, November 21st, 2019 (four days before the Annual General Membership Meeting) so your name and information can appear on the pre-printed ballot to be distributed at the Meeting.  Board member nominations are also allowed from the floor at the annual meeting.  Exiting Board members can submit their nomination for re-election.

All Vista Las Palmas members are eligible to run for the Board. Should you know of another member who is interested and eligible to be on the Board, please have them submit their nomination ASAP.

Three (3) Board Members will be elected at the Annual General Membership Meeting on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 to serve a 2-year term.

Useful Background Information:
